Indonesian Language Pronunciation

Like what i mentioned before, Indonesian language has the same spelling as the Japanese does ( Romanized Katakana and Hiragana ), with a little Dutch influence.

VOWEL

For the vowel, Indonesian uses the same rule like Japanese vowel (A,I,U,E,O), but we have a little difference in how to say the ''E" part.

A

~it is spelled approximately like "a" in"bar"
( maka=so,therefore; saya=i,me )

~in the syllable ended with consonant, it is pronounced like "u" in "but"
( sekat=screen, room divider; kebal=invulnerable,resistant )

ai

~it sounds like "i" in "dine" and "slice"
( pantai=beach; santai=relaxed; kain=cloth, fabric )

Why is Indonesian language the easiest language to learn ?

There are few reasons why Indonesian language is considered to be the easiest language on earth :
  1. No tenses, it means no changing verbs due to time. Just using auxiliary verb and adverb of times to indicate the time of action. So you don't have to think about grammar while speaking.
  2. The grammar is extremely easy. It'is just about adding suffix, prefix on the verb. Indonesian doesn't have many rules for the grammar such as grammarical gender rule, verb conjunctions, singular/plural rule, countable and uncountable nouns, irregular verb, subject and verb agreement, preposition rule. ( Adjectives + prepositions, to infinitive rule, Verbs + preposition )
  3. Indonesian language has 26 alphabets, just like in English
  4. Really easy pronunciation. It's very much similar to how to say Japanese Hiragana and Katakana. But basically, it originally comes from Dutch Spelling, it's not very alike however it's almost similar.
  5. Indonesian is written in Latin script as it does in English.
  6. The sentence formation is sometimes not necessary. Seriously, it's true ^_^. No matter you put the subject in the end of the sentence or in the front, it's still understandable. Indonesian language is a truly flexible language.
  7. Indonesian language main purpose is to unite more than 40 different native languages in Indonesia. That's why it has to be really easy to understand.
