To express time in Indonesian is as easy as English is
Pass = lewat
to ( less ) = kurang
-Hour = pukul or Jam
- Jam enam = 6 o'clock
- Pukul ( jam ) delapan pagi = 8 o'clock in the morning
- Jam satu malam =1 o'clock in midnight
- Jam tujuh lewat lima belas menit = fiften minutes past seven ( 7:15 )
- Jam satu lewat setengah jam = half past one ( 1:30)
- Jam dua kurang seperempat jam = a quarter to two ( 1:45 )
- Jam 5 lewat 3 menit = three minutes past five ( 5:03 )
- 5 detik = 5 seconds

Date in Indonesian Language
-Date = tanggal
- Hari ini, tanggal 14 Februari ( Today's date is February 14th )
