In general, the true meaning of prefix "se-" in Indonesian language is one, singular
Nevertheless, there are other meanings for "se-" :

Seorang sedang menunggu kita
Someone is waiting for us
Mereka cuma sehari menginap di sana
They only stay there for a day
2. .....of the same
Dia makan dengan teman sekelas
She ate with her classmate
Orang itu adalah teman sekerja saya
That man is my coworker
3. as.........as or not as............as
Kursi itu tidak seberat kursi di rumah ku
That chair is not as heavy as the chair in my house
Buku itu tidak sebagus bukunya
That book is not as good as his book
4. se + duplication ( hight degree of emphasizing )
Berangkatlah secepat-cepatnya ke sekolah
Go as soon as possible to the school
5. the whole, entire, solid
Di Tokyo akan diadakan rapat pengurus se-Jepang
In Tokyo, there will be a manager meeting from whole Japan
Saya akan menghadiri pertemuan dokter sedunia
I will attend the gathering of doctors from the whole world
