How to make "Relative Pronoun" in Indonesian language ?

"The girl who i admire so much is her"
"We move to another house which is big and very expensive"
"The place where we went last night is special for him"
"He took the book that i bought yesterday"

Now, how to say that in Indonesian....We can use word "yang" to make a relative pronoun in Indonesian. Just one word to cover all English pronoun, that's why it's so much simple to learn Indonesia language ^_^.

yang = who, which, that, where, when, whom

For Example :


1. Kuda yang hitam ( the horse which is black )
2. Pinguin yang biru ( the penguin that is blue )
3. Gedung yang besar ( the building which is big )
4. Teman saya yang baru ( my friend who is new )
5. Mobil saya yang tua ini ( this is my car that is old ) ( "itu" acts as stressing point )
6. Rumah hitam yang baru itu ( that is the black house which is new )

All senteces above can be replaced by below :

1. Kuda hitam
2. Pinguin biru
3. Gedung besar
4. Teman baru saya
5. Mobil tua saya ini
6. Rumah hitam baru itu

 "yang" also has other function as "one/ ones" in "which one ?"

Which (one) ? = Yang mana ?

1.Which one is your book ? = Yang mana bukumu ?
   The answers can be :

-Yang itu  ( That one )
-Yang berwarna merah ( The one which has red color )

2. Which one do you like ? = Yang mana kamu suka ?
    The answers can be :

-Yang biru itu ( That blue one )
-Yang mahal ( The expensive one )

3. The one which is tall is my stick, that one that is short is yours
    ( Yang panjang tongkat saya, yang pendek itu punya kamu )
