Negation and Question tag sentence in Indonesian language

1. Not, no = Bukan

"Bukan" expresses negation word for a noun, and it also has a role for question tag in Indonesian language

For example :
  1. Itu bukan rumah saya ( That's not my house )
  2. Pak dito bukan orang yang saya cari ( Mr.dito is not what we're looking for )
  3. Yang menjatuhkan kertas itu bukan dia ( The one who dropped that paper is not her/him )
  4. Bukan saya, yang suka film itu ( it's not me that like that movie )

  6. Anda mau ke kantor ? Bukan ke situ, saya mau ke sana ( Do you want to go to office ? Not there, i want to go there )
"Bukan" is used as question tag in Indonesian language. So we don't have to think hardly the question tag regarding the verb modal or "to be" anymore, just use one word "bukan", then it's done. Indonesian language is really simple and easy.
For example :
  1. Pak Dito pergi ke Jepang , bukan ? ( Mr. Dito wants to go to Japan, doesn't he ? )
  2. Guruku akan mengajar di sekolah itu, bukan ? ( My teacher will teach at that school, won't he ? )
  3. Kamu mau mengatakan sesuatu, bukan ? ( You want to say something, don't you ? )

2. Not, no = Tidak, Nggak, Tak

"Tidak, Nggak, Tak" expresses negation word for modals ( except "sudah") verb and adjective
For example :

  1. Susu ini tidak panas ( This milk is not hot )
  2. Saya nggak sakit ( I'm not sick )
  3. Dia tidak pergi ( he doesn't go )
  4. Mereka tidak mengatakan kata itu ( They don't say that word )
  5. Pensil itu tak ada di tempatnya ( That pencil is not at its place )
  6. Mereka tidak bisa berbuat sesuatu ( They can't do something )
  7. Dia tak boleh seperti ini ( He can't be like this )
